If you’ve ever watched tournament pool on TV, you may well have noticed that the tables used (predominantly Brunswick!) more often that not have two large ‘pedestal’ style legs supporting the frame, slates and rails. By using two legs that stretch across the full width of the table, situated in a perfect position to support the weight of the slate bed laterally, this way of table construction ensures that nothing will move in a way that’s simple for the manufacturer. So, to make a table with four legs, each located in a corner, and ensure that table is going to stay level for months, if not years on end, takes a lot more understanding and resources to do it right. Which is why many other manufacturer’s tables can go out of level continually and very quickly which not only causes a lot of inconvenience for you as a customer, but adds cost every time you need a table fitter to come out and re-level the table. Thankfully, the Tremont American Pool Table by Brunswick doesn’t have those issues.[/mp_text] [/mp_span] [mp_span col=”6″] [mp_text]
Whilst the frame and slates do the job of keeping the table flat and level, it’s the cushions that can determine if you’ll really enjoy your game as a family or group. The reason for this is quite simple. After-all, there are going to be many times when the balls will impact the rails and if the rubbers aren’t consistent, then you’ll never know where the balls will end up. Brunswick Centennial cushion rubbers are produced from a unique formula ensures each rebound is predictable, not guess work, making your game fun and enjoyable, which at the end of the day, is why you probably wanted a pool table in the first place! All-in-all, the Tremont American Pool Table by Brunswick is a highly competent pool table that is not only one of the most accurate and precise tables available, but also a table that is likely to last for many, many years, providing hours of great fun for you, your friends and family[/mp_text] [/mp_span] [/mp_row] [mp_row] [mp_span col=”12″ classes=” motopress-space”] [mp_space margin=”15,none,none,none”] [/mp_span] [/mp_row] [mp_row] [mp_span col=”8″] [mp_row_inner] [mp_span_inner col=”12″] [mp_tabs padding=”20″ vertical=”false” rotate=”disable”] [mp_tab id=”56adf4d3c989a” title=”Specs” icon=”none” icon_size=”normal” icon_custom_size=”26″ icon_color=”inherit” icon_custom_color=”#000000″ icon_margin_left=”5″ icon_margin_right=”5″ icon_margin_top=”0″ icon_margin_bottom=”0″ active=”true”]

The Tremont is an American pool table right? Does this mean it’s going to be too easy to play?
With English pool, you get smaller, tighter pockets with a rounded profile. Just like a smaller version of snooker. You also play with smaller balls – 2″ instead of 2-1/4″ for American. Whilst this might be the best option for any 5ft table and possibly a 6ft table, for all others, the smaller balls and tighter pockets just don’t make sense. Besides which, with the spot and stripe pool balls that come with American pockets, you can play more than 30 different games from simple 8-ball pool, right up to the ultra-hard One Pocket Billiards, all with the same set. If you’ve ever watched professional 9-ball on TV, you’ll see even pro players rarely get to run out a full rack, so no, you shouldn’t find this too easy
How long will it take for the Brunswick Tremont to be ready?
The Tremont is in our current stock of pool tables. We normally allow approximately 14 days to get your delivery and assembly booked in, however this can be extended close to Christmas. If you have a date in mind that you need the table to be ready for, please let us know and we will see what we can do.
What room size do I need for a Tremont pool table?
You use the play area of the table to determine how much room you need, plus the length of a cue at both sides and ends. So for example, an 8ft table has a play area of 88″ x 44″, so if you wanted to use full size 58″ cues, you simply double the cue length (2 x 58 = 116″) and add this to the length and width of the play area, so in this instance 88 + 116 = 204″ long, plus 116 + 44 = 160″ wide.
